Other Anime

This is where I review Other Anime (than One Piece). Check them out. You might find the right manga for you!

Squall Play Arts Kai (Part 1)
After waiting 15 agonizing days, Squall finally arrived today! Alright, some quick background information! I got him from an online store called Things From Another World (TFAW) for $29.99 (with $8.80 shipping). It's an amazing deal compare to the retail price which is $49.99 and with crazy shipping fee of $14-25. I was prepared to spend that amount to get him. When the package arrived, I was squealing my guts out. So this is how...
Squall Play Arts Kai (Part 2)
I was immediately in love with this amazing figurine I got from TFAW. Seriously, he is really, really pose-able. I strongly recommend any figurine lover to buy one Play Arts Kai and try it out. You will love it. If you need help with any online figurine website, don't be shy and ask me. So let's see what other poses Squall can do...Squall's articulation is perfect. Once you know where to twist, he can do any pose. When I saw him posing with his blade behind his head ...
Gabranth Play Arts Kai
So Gabranth has arrived. This time I bought it from Robert Anime Corner Store because they offer the cheapest Gabranth there is! Trust me to find the cheapest goodies... I didn't buy from Things From Another World as I did with Squall because they don't have Gabranth. So I thought, why not give other online stores a try? So I scooped around and found Toylet. I saw they had Nero for $36.99 and Gabranth for $42.99 with $20 shipping for both...
Nero Play Arts Kai (Part 1)
My collection of sexy men has just increased by one! So for my birthday, my friends collectively bought me Nero from Devil May Cry 4! OMG Thank you guys! For those of you who follow my blog, you probably know how much I wanted Nero from my ranting on Gabranth's post. When I opened the present, I was like OOooooOOohhh Noooo, you guys didn't do thaaattttt! I hate youuuu~ You are sooo nasty surprising me like that ...!

I can't believe I smuggled Nero (Devil May Cry 4) with me to my family trip. I admit... I was behaving like a little kid who is so attached to her toy she won't let go. When I took Nero out from the luggage at the hotel, my mom was facepalming. LOL! I am that immature. For the rest of the trip, I had him in my handbag so I could take pictures of him anywhere. Yup. I would love to bring Squall and Gabranth along but I don't dare to push my luck. XP

Nero Play Arts Kai (Part 3)
So I brought Nero dearest with me on my trip to Ottawa, Capital of Canada. I think he had more fun than I had. So we visited the Museum of Fine Arts there. There was this huuuuge spider structure outside the museum. You can see in the photos that the spider is about ten times a regular person's height. Imagine little Nero there. He was like an ant. Spider vaguely in the background, slowly approaching Nero from behind....The Spider is getting closer... Nero is still unaware of the danger...

Squall, Gabranth & Nero Play Arts Kai
I've decided to take the boys (Play Arts Kai) out to play in the snow. They are just so cool posing there. Besides, the lighting was perfect. I mean it brings out the cold atmosphere. I particularly like Nero's photos. His colors blend very well with the snow. They are the first who stepped on the virgin snow in my backyard. Awesome Play Arts Gabranth and Nero posing. I lost Nero's sword in the woods (when I was photographing him among the autumn leaves... sad...).

Polymer Clay Meets Play Arts Kai
As most of you are aware, I am a huge Play Arts Kai fan as well as a polymer clay fan. So what's better than to combine my 2 favorite collections together? So this is how everything looks like. Now, I have my Play Arts Kai boys and girl, polymer clay charms and Trafalgar Law's yellow submarine all in one picture. How perfect is that? Time for some hilarious posing photos! Squall... oh Squall, your sulking expression just made my day. Male readers, pardon me while ...

The Immature Hunting Adventures of Play Arts Kai Boys
Well, it has been ages since I last updated on my Play Arts Kai and I have gotten quite a few now. Today, I have some free time and decide to let the boys out for some adventure. Therefore, we are having Raiden (Metal Gear), Nero (Devil May Cry 4) Snow, Gabranth and Squall (Final Fantasy). Our guest is my pet baby dwarf rabbit, Timber. The boys set off on an adventure to tame the wild bunny that has been terrorizing the forest.

It's a slice of life, shounen, comedy, school life manga. While I don't read comedy and slice of life, this manga gets my vote! For the more veteran manga readers, you probably recognize the art and its resemblance to Rave Master and Fairy Tail. Not big surprise. This mangaka (Yoshikawa Miki) is in fact Fairy Tail mangaka's assistant. Anyhow, the art is actually quite distinct once you start reading it. Without further ado...!

Shingeki no Kyojin
There are just so many manga out there and you don't know which to try out? Well, you come to the right place. I have been reading manga for a decade now. So don't worry, I know my stuff. Now skipping those super mega popular manga, I would like to recommend you some really good manga that are obscured to many. Now, this week's manga will be particularly gory but bear with me. It's totally worthy. The story plot catches my attention...
Are You Alice?
For any Alice in Wonderland and manga fans, I believe I have the right manga for you that fused both of your interest! Allow me to present you Are You Alice? A manga living up to the original story's strangeness. I have a love for Alice in Wonderland and even took a class to analyze the story in great details. Anyway, I was really thrilled to have finally found a manga that matched the story's whimsical craziness...

Zetsuen no Tempest
Zetsuen no Tempest is a new anime that I fell in love with. The art is magnificent. I love the solemn atmosphere and intriguing characters. The main protagonists are by no mean gentleman. As you can see from this gif (above) and screenshot (below), Mahiro (blond) kicked a woman in the face. hat gotta hurts. Now, allow me to introduce you to an anime...

Resident Evil: Damnation
Having watch Resident Evil: Damnation, I decided to buy the DVD the next day so I can screenshot high quality pictures for my wonderful readers. Feel the love! First of all, I absolutely adore RE: Damnation. The atmosphere was suspenseful and the graphic is amazing. The characters (both male and female) are ridiculously gorgeous...

Attack on Titans Prequel (A Choice with No Regrets)
Attack on Titans fangirls and fanboys, hold your breath! The prequel trailer has been released! For those of you who didn't know there's a prequel, it's called A Choice with No Regrets (by Isayama Hajime and Sunaaku Gan). It's a story of our favorite Heichou Levi when he was still an underground sewer rat and how he had come to be the Heichou we know. So far, I'm not going to lie, it looks...

Batman: Court of Owls (New 52) Volume 1 (Part 1)
I finally bought my first DC comic especially with all the Superheroes movies coming out like crazy this year. As a new reader I decided to start with DC because it is currently revamping all its superheroes, making it more welcoming. Otherwise... boy, I have no idea where to start! There are like 60 years worth of comics. Thank you, DC for allowing me the chance to join your superheroes' universe. I have taken cool pictures and explain the story as we go. Ready for it?
Batman: Court of Owls (New 52) Volume 1 (Part 2)
Batman is captured by the Court of Owls as he was investigating Gotham's sewer for the owls. This is where the comics tone went dark. Very, very dark. Batman is forced to psychologically transformed. He was tortured mentally and physically by being trapped in an underground labyrinth of Gotham which he takes pride in knowing every crook and corner. The Court of Owls is implying that they know Gotham better than Batman and this is where they will ...

Nightwing (New 52) Volume 1 (Part 1)
Everyone knows Batman. Now some people might not know who Nightwing is. So with the DC revamp of all the series, it makes it easier for new fans to start following a superhero they like. I was always interested in how little Dick Grayson (former Robin) was doing. So when they released his Nightwing series, Aw sweet Jesus, the art is fantastic. The coloring makes his armor so smooth and slick. I love the metal coloring. Just beautiful. It starts off with Nightwing battling random petty villains as he returns to  back to Haly Circus...
