A list of experiences Era Fey wanna share with you guys:

Places I Have Visited!

So summer is almost over. I just want to show you a trip I made to Malaysia. It's a beautiful place with a whole different culture and lifestyle. The place in part 1 took place on a small island called Penang. Fly to Malaysia and feel the fun! When my family landed, it was night. This is how dawn looks like in Penang. You notice the mixture of green and concrete. It's not uncommon in Penang because there are still villages every here and there though the number is quickly shrinking. Old villages are ...

Let's continue with our adventure in Malaysia! Now, we will explore the more trending areas! What kind of food you can find and fancy places Malaysians go. So let's follow this path and see what lies ahead...
This is a seafood restaurant right next to the sea. It's a gorgeous short path. As you walk on the planks, it's like you enter another world. The soft waves rolling beneath the 'bridge', rocking the little boats fastened on the shore...

Prepare to have the breath knock out of you! Behold this stunning beauty that left my jaw dropped.
We have already seen plenty of interesting stuff about Malaysia (Life and Food) but there are so much more to explore! Let's hop on our blog-mobile and speed off! And of course you can't go to Penang and not visit their famous Buddhist temple: Kek Lok Si.

Last week we talked about the food and the temples, now we are going to see how their malls look like and the interesting craze they had there! Malaysians loooove Baskin Robbins. Do you know that? I certainly had no ideaaa! When I saw how in love they were, my jaw dropped. Seriously... read on to be surprised! Next, we see the malls. The architectures in the more luxurious malls are very impressive...

Have you ever been to Singapore or wanted to go? I'm sure many of you had heard that Singapore is a very strict and organized country. Well... you didn't hear wrong. Heck, the Singaporeans themselves are aware of that and made fun of it. This is what you'll find most in souvenir stores. This is Singapore's Technology Mall. I bet it's all computer geeks' favorite place to hang out. Look at all the brands and variety the mall has! Be sure to visit the mall when you visit Singapore.

Wonder where you can go for summer vacation? Here is a place I would recommend if you are living near Canada and love nature calling. My family went on a trip to Mont Tremblant (Province: Quebec) to enjoy the breeze lake and mountain chalet. It was one of the most relaxing trips I have ever gone to. It's perfect for families and peaceful couples. Basically, what you do there (depending on which part of the mountain you are at) there isn't any shopping mall. ll you have are lakes (for swimming, canoeing, viewing), mountains ...

What to Do in Montreal?

Otakuthon 2012 Montreal
So I attended an anime convention (Otakuthon) on August 4 2012. It was an amazing experience. Many of the cosplays were magnificent. We saw all sorts of characters there. Blue mascot Happy from Fairy Tail, Dante from Devil May Cry, Kurono from Gantz, baby Goku, lolitas, Avengers gang...etc. Quite eye-opening. The energy in there was just explosive. People rushing here and there, taking pictures of other characters while other people...

Otakuthon 2013 Montreal
This is my 3rd time going to Otakuthon though I am there mostly for the figurines and anime goods. I have been excited for this day since March, wow freaking 5 months ago. If that's not dedication for my figurine collection hobby and my love to see cosplay then I don't know what else to call it. I bought my ticket way ahead of time. I paid $40 for Friday-Sunday. Normally the ticket for Saturday...
For those who wonder what is there in Canada, buckle your seatbelt for one amazing ride around town! Today, I will be talking about Montreal! And ....No. We do not live in igloos and have polar bears as rides.
Let's start with Halloween! October 31 is every kid's favorite (next to Christmas). It's the time of the year for kids to dress up as vampires, werewolves, Spiderman and other monsters/superheroes. What's more? .

Montreal Amusement Park: Laronde Part 1
Buckle up! We're in for one hellavu ride! Welcome to Montreal's thriller island: La Ronde! You heard it right! The freaking ISLAND is one paradise for family and young people to hang out and chill! So La Ronde... sweet La Ronde. Every kid-teen-young adult's fantasy world. The price is expensive about $50. I managed to buy the early seasonal pass for $48. Wooohoooo. Totally worthy. With the season pass, you can have 3 free passes! How cool is that?

Montreal Amusement Park: Laronde Part 2
Now it is getting a bit colder but it doesn't stop people from lining up hours for the ride of their lifetime! Here you see the ball slingshot (the arc-like structure). You seat 2 people in one ball and they SHOOT you up in the air. I was like ohhhhh myyyy goooooddddd just by looking at the thrill-lovers. Crazy I tell you. Next to it, it's the Ferris Wheels and another ride which I will explain later below. You can also see the lake within La Ronde (an island by itself).

Montreal Recommended Restaurants!

Japon Sushi Bar
Looking for a charming sushi bar restaurant? Well, check out Japon Sushi Bar at St-Laurent (Montreal). The atmosphere is perfect. The food are beautiful decorated and the place is perfect for a romantic dinner.  I absolutely adore the contemporary touch the place has. At night, the sushi bar has great lighting ambiance and quiet music. Absolutely breath-taking!

Shabu Shabu Korean BBQ Restaurant
I had passed by this Korean restaurant everyday and saw a lot of people dining in there so I decided to give it a try. The interior decors is quite superb and neat. The place itself is quite spacious and the seats are comfy. The food is also huge in portion. The waitress was very friendly and smiley. Overall experience is pretty good. Now let see what we ate!  Another cool thing about Shabu Shabu Korean BBQ is the golf stimulation...

Maharaja Indian Buffet
Where to find good Indian food in MontreaL? You definitely should try Maharaja Indian buffet! It's located at the core of downtown.  I have taken pictures of their different variety of curry and interesting desserts! I have to say, it was quite an mouth-opening experience I had. Now let's see what kind of food they have! I love the interior decors. It's quite oriental with a few Indian statues, sculptures, paintings...etc. You find bits of cool artifacts in the restaurant. Really. As you can see, the decors are quite lovely. There is a big solarium section on ...
Misoya Sushi
Misoya is probably one of the most underrated Asian restaurants in Montreal. The food is extreeemely delicious. The outside doesn't look very attractive because of the part of a bigger store next door but you should never judge the book by its cover. My family went in there and booooyyyy, it's quite homey. It's tiny and cute. The waitress was very friendly. There was no other...

Cacao 70
Cacao 70 has been one of my favorite restaurants. I love the interior decors and the chocolate! Cacao 70 is the chocolate expert and has been a splendid job. I would recommend the pizza and the waffles (see pics) if you have sweet tooth. If not, they have other meals that make you drool too! What I like about the store other than the decors and food is that the unique food decorations. I could just stare at the food all day. They are just too pretty to eat! Everything I eat, I felt...

Cafe Des Chats (Cat Cafe)
Alright guys, we finally have our first cat cafe in North America -Montreal, Canada. So you can imagine how thrilled everyone is... like super excited about. My facebook newsfeed was all about "Omg it's happening" to "Omg when is it opening?" a month ago. Little to people know, the Cafe Des Chats is already opened. At least the first one near Sherbrooke metro. 3435 Avenue Saint-Denis, Montreal. It's funny because I didn't know a cat cafe was already opened...

Other Experiences!

Rich & Awesome Halloween Houses
This year's Halloween, we decided to have a go at the rich folks' place! Woohoo! Awesome decorations, high quality candies, amazing time and mega huge rich houses. What a nice combination to spend a lovely night knocking on people's door with a smile and go Trick or Treat. Granted, I am over the age limit buuuut I have a little brother who is eligible! Rock on! So, let's start! Currently, we are heading up the rich people's area in Montreal...

I'm sure they are a few in your local area (unless you are super rich and dandy then no). Just go check them out sometimes. They might have some good things. Remember the saying "One person's trash is another person's treasure". Many of you (especially if you live in North America) have visited second hand stores like Value Village, Renaissance...etc, so you know more or less how it looks like. Rows and rows of worn clothing, shelves after shelves of used...
Online Shopping Experiences
Online shopping! If you are new (or interested) to the online shopping trend, relax and enjoy this blog. Ok, my very first purchase online was with Amazon. Buying books. If you are scared of shopping online, my recommendation is that you start with some really, really trusted websites. Most of the super uber famous stores should be safe. Once you purchase from the trusted websites and got your orders delivered to your house, you will feel more ...

Amazon Online Shopping
On our birthdays, my brother and I received a gift amazon gift certificate from family. Excited, I ordered books I wanted and cartoon DVD for my little brother. I was sooo surprised by the shipping time. Aside from their free shipping (order $25 above), the delivery is faaast. At 11:49 am, I received a notification from Amazon that they had delivered my order. I expected it to arrive in 2 days. At 2:20 pm, the doorbell rang. Curious, I answered the door and saw....
Students' Job Interviews
As a student, I applied to my university extra program called the Co-op program which allows students to work for 1 semester and study the next semester alternatively. The Coop searches for companies who are interested in hiring interns for a semester and the students have to apply to those jobs available. So I will share with you my experiences applying to jobs as students.First of all, you write write a good CV/resume. Make sure it looks professional and use strong action verbs that relates to the jobs you are applying...

Collectibles on Shelf
For those of you who are interested in collecting little cute things to decorate yourself, this is a post for you! If you aren't the type, scoop around. I will be talking briefly about the collectibles I have and how I acquired them. I probably spent more on them than my other purchases. That should speak volume. I painted the ceramic dragon at a place called Ceramic Cafe years ago. It was pretty pricey. About $20 an hour to paint there... and it took me 2 hours...

The Hobbit Jokes in a Nutshell
So I finally watched the Hobbit after years of waiting since Lord of the Rings. I must say I am one of Peter Jackson's most avid fans. I love all the movies he directed. Anyhow, seriousness aside... time for some cracked jokes I found on Tumblr on the Hobbit... darn, I kept made typo mistake and type the Hottib...

Browsing Tumbr When I Saw...
Recently, I decided to check out Tumblr. So I expected it to be like 9gag, you know. But then I realize Tumblr is a pretty cool place too unlike what my friends said. Seriously, Tumblr is amaaaazing. You get to interact with other users and together create hilarious posts. I found a few cute posts that just get...

Polymer Clay's Little Wonders
Today I would like to introduce you to the world of Polymer Clay! I have made some charms and they are extremely easy to make and are just soooo cute! Now I happened to come across this new hobby of mine while buying figurines (as I'm a new collector). I thought 'How did they make these figurines?'. So I did some research and came across Polymer Clay charms. So I went to the nearest arts craft store (Omer Deserres) and bought 3 Fimo clay packs ...
